Product extremely poor and faulty – sections did not fit together and parts were different from the photograph. I had to return due to faults.

On close inspection this desk certainly has some quality issues but at the price paid I wasn’t expecting an example of exquisite craftsmanship and finish. There was some minor marking on the black surface and slight lack of symmetry in the handles. In several places the printed instructions were a little difficult to relate to the components (fitting the drawer runners for example) but I did manage to assemble it with no assistance. The end result was a very striking and slightly off-beat looking desk with a very mid-century style. When in use, I would expect it to get a few marks and scuffs here and there, but I was looking for something that was practical as well as visually decent. It is very good as a work space for a laptop and some basic desk items, so it provides pretty much everything I wanted. The three drawers fit well and open/close smoothly, providing enough room and accessibility for typical A4 files and documents. It works as a desk that looks like an interesting piece of furniture in a non-office surrounding. If it had a little better finishing and build I would have given it 5 stars at this price.
